Mrs Jane Potter
Chair of Governors
I have been a school governor for more than 10 years. Following a career in marketing I wanted to ‘put something back’ and became a governor at the Redditch further education college in 2007. I have since become a governor at Tudor Grange Academy Trust, and joined the board in December 2019.
I also wanted to make a positive contribution to my local community and currently serve as a Worcestershire County Councillor where I am Chair of the Adult Social Care and Wellbeing Scrutiny Panel, a member of the Corporate Parenting Board and also Children and Families Overview Scrutiny Panel. My particular interest is to secure an excellent education for young people and this has led me to take on further school governor roles. I am currently Chair of Governors at Tudor Grange Redditch and the combined local governing body for Meon Vale and Haselor primary schools.
I am a member of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and my hobbies include walking, gardening and watercolour painting.
Reverend Andrew Goy
I am the Church of England Minister for Meon Vale, appointed in 2019 to lay the foundations for a long-term Church of England presence in Meon Vale and the Long Marston Garden Village. Prior to ordained ministry, I worked as a civil servant for Her Majesty’s Courts Service and then in local government managing the Overview and Scrutiny Committees of a borough council. Helping communities to thrive is at the heart of my ministry and my hope is to see Tudor Grange grow not only as a place for our children to flourish, but as a school right at the heart of the developing community in Meon Vale.
My wife and I have two children currently studying at Tudor Grange Academy and in our spare time we love walking and visiting our local heritage sites.
D. Quick JP
I have a background in the military having served in two of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. I was a Registered Nurse working at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine in Birmingham, as well as the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre – Headley Court. After I left the Royal Air Force, I undertook a career in law, working in both criminal and civil litigation.
I have a substantial background in governance and therefore have always endeavoured to drive high standards. My time as a Registered Nurse gave me vast experience in safeguarding. Due to this experience, I am also the ‘Safeguarding Link Governor’ for the school.
With my own child at Tudor Grange Primary Academy, I have a passion for the delivery of the best education possible, so that children can flourish and become the best possible version of themselves.
Mrs Jodie Bolter
Jodie Bolter started her teaching career in 2006 after spending 5 years working as a PR Consultant in London. Her first teaching post was at The Knights Templar School in Baldock Hertfordshire. She quickly established herself within her teaching and was successful in receiving place on the Fast Track Teaching course in her NQT year. During her time at Knights Templar School she became Head of Department and passed the Advanced Skills Teacher assessment. As an Advanced Skills Teacher, Jodie worked with a number of local schools helping them with teaching and learning and assessment and providing support plans for schools that needed them.
Jodie then went to work for Goffs Academy in Cheshunt as an Assistant Head and was then later promoted to Vice Principal. After relocating to the West Midlands in 2016, Jodie took on the role as Associate Principal for Tudor Grange Academy Redditch and shortly after became the substantive Principal. During this time, Jodie has also held a Trust portfolio and has regularly worked with other Trust primary schools taking part in their annual reviews and lesson observation programmes. Jodie has also mentored the former Headteacher of Haselor school and the new current Head of Haselor offering mentoring to new Heads and providing support with strategic development work. Jodie works closely with the Primary Executives across the Trust, helping to develop a common curriculum and set of principles for all Primary Schools within the Trust.
