At TGPAMV we encourage the children to be creative and imaginative in their approach to design, to make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values.

Children will learn how to take risks, becoming resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens; make links between design and wider subject knowledge from mathematics, science, computing and art; increase their understanding of how past and present design and technology impacts upon daily life and the wider world; how high quality design and technology makes an essential contribution to the creativity, culture, wealth and well-being of individuals and nations.

We use Kapow as a scheme of learning to support the teaching of our Design and Technology lessons.
