Tudor Grange Academy Meon Vale are proudly working towards an Eco Schools Green Flag.  

We have a committed team of volunteer pupils and adults to oversee the small but important changes in and around our school.

Our Eco Committee are made up of children from KS1 and KS2 and have already begun to take steps in the right direction to make our school more eco-friendly.

We are working towards improving our school across three topics:

• Biodiversity
• waste
• Marine

Our dedicated Eco Committee have already implemented several changes within our school, including;

1. Introducing a compost bin to reduce food waste
2. Providing homes for the Hedgehogs that live within our grounds
3. Placing a battery recycling bin in our school office.

Our Eco Committee meets every half-term to ensure that Eco work is being carried out and to discuss ways of developing our Eco work further.
